CIUDAD JUÁREZ, Mexico — October 24, 2026. Reports of a mysterious small, hairless, humanoid-looking creature allegedly attacking chickens in Chihuahua have attracted attention after Mexican UFO researcher Jaime Maussan began investigating the claims.
What witnesses reportedly described
According to media coverage, witnesses described a creature approximately two feet tall, moving on two legs and displaying unusual agility. Maussan recounted an allegation that a child saw the creature seize a chicken and climb a tree. These accounts have not been independently verified.
Where is the evidence?
Investigators have not presented independently authenticated biological specimens or conclusive photographs establishing an unknown species. Public safety officials in El Paso and Ciudad Juárez told reporters they had received no corresponding complaints about a monster attacking poultry.
Maussan has suggested speculative explanations, including extraordinary origins, but there is no substantiated evidence supporting those interpretations. Ordinary wildlife, mistaken identification, and embellished accounts remain possible explanations.
The questions Apep Bar is tracking
Can witnesses provide original, time-stamped footage? Are veterinary or wildlife reports available? Have local authorities documented attacks? Until such evidence emerges, the story remains an intriguing but unconfirmed cryptid report—not proof of a new creature.
